Green Team

The First Clover Leaf Bank's
"Green Team" where
"Community Comes First."

Our Green Team symbolizes all that First Clover Leaf Bank knows is important and necessary for a safe and prospering community. Comprised of bank employees and their family members, the Green Team donates their time and talents to worthwhile projects, fund-raisers, charitable causes and community events throughout the year.

Examples of Green Team accomplishments in 2007 include:

  • Donated over 27 man-hours and supplies to paint the Edwardsville Senior Citizens Center;
  • Delivered Meals on Wheels for the Senior Citizens Service Center in Edwardsville;
  • Organized a food drive to benefit the Glen/Ed Pantry during the Easter and Thanksgiving seasons;
  • Walked in the March of Dimes walk in April;
  • Achieved a Gold Sponsorship for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life in Edwardsville and Wood River;
  • Sent care packages to local service men and women serving in the armed forces abroad;
  • Continued our Adopt-a-Highway clean-up effort to make our community a better place to live;
  • Adopted three local families during the Holiday season.

There are countless other projects that the Green Team has taken on in the past and many more we plan to undertake in the future. As your friend and neighbor, we're proud to be part of this community and to be able to help make a difference.

We're always happy to hear your suggestions about where our Green Team can be helpful. Please feel free to contact our coordinator's, Joni Picklesimer and Neida Linder at (618) 656-6122 or send an e-mail to Joni or Neida with your comments. We are always happy to hear from you!
