| You must be at least 14 years old to open this account and receive a Visa Debit Card. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian will be required to be a co-owner on the account. This checking account will be a FREE checking account as long as you agree to receive an electronic bank statement. If not, a $5.00 monthly service charge will be applied. There is no minimum balance required to be maintained, but you must deposit at least $25.00 to open the account. You have unlimited check writing privileges. In addition, we will reimburse ATM fees charged by other banks up to $15.00 monthly account holders who are 25 years of age or younger. *Round Up Savings is only offered to First Clover Leaf Bank VISA debit cardholders. Your VISA debit card purchases will round up to the nearest dollar. ATM cards/transactions are not eligible. Transfers post as RUS or Round Up Savings, from your checking to your savings or money market at the end of each day. *First Clover Leaf Bank will match 10% of your Round Up Savings deposits for the first six months. The maximum total match per account is $200.00. The matched funds will be credited to your savings or money market account quarterly. Matching funds will be reported to the IRS on Form 1099.
